anti-CD59 FITC Conjugate
Human CD59 is a GPI anchored molecule that protects cells from complement-mediated lysis (1). Studies are progressing to determine the regulatory mechanism for CD59 expression (2). A CD59-like protein has been discovered on the causative agent of Amebic encephalitis (3)
Isotype: Murine IgG1 kappa
Immunogen: Human K562 tumor cells
Specificity: Antibody BRA-10G reacts with the 18-22 kd CD59 molecule. It is useful in Flow cytometry, Western Blot(3) and Immunoprecipitation(4).
