anti-CD18 F(ab')2 (Preservative-free)
Isotype: Murine IgG2a
Immunogen: Human peripheral blood monocytes
Specificity: Antibody IB4 recognizes the beta 2 integrin subunit (CD18) adhesion molecule of about 95 kd (1, 6).
Functional Application: Antibody IB4 blocks binding of ICAM-1 and ICAM-3 to LFA-1 (2, 5). IB4 F(ab’)2 was used as a positive control to block adhesion of Neutrophils to recombinant CD54 (7) or A431 tumor cells (8) in vitro. IB4 blocks Trogocytic killing of Trichomonis vaginalis by human Neutrophil-like cells(9).
