anti-CD17 Purified (with Antibiotics)

Antibodies to human CD17 react with lactosylceramide which is expressed on granulocytes, monocytes, platelets, and basophils (1).  CD17 expression is downmodulated on activated granulocytes. CD17 is an important componant in CD11b/CD18 mediated phagocytosis of microbes (2).

Isotype: Murine IgM

Immunogen: Human beta-2 microglobulin associated proteins from a detergent lysate of PBL

Specificity: Antibody Huly-m13 binds to CD17 on human myeloid cells. It does not recognize mouse LacCer (6).
