anti-CD79b Biotinylated
Human CD79b is the B cell antigen receptor Ig beta chain (BCR-Ig beta) which associates with B cell antigen receptor Iga chain to form a functional heterodimer that interacts with membrane immunoglobulin (mIg) (3). The mIgM component binds antigen and the Ig alpha/Ig beta heterodimer transduces signals. chain (CD79b) which has a molecular weight of approximately 38 kd (1,4).Analysis of CD79b expression is useful in diagnosis of B cell lymphoproliferative disorders (5).
Isotype: Murine IgG1kappa
Immunogen: Membrane preparation of human B prolymphocytic leukemia cells
Specificity: Antibody SN8 recognizes the extracellular part of the BCR complex beta
Functional Application: Antibody SN8 is able to induce signal transduction in B cells.
