Maresin-1 is a Promising Candidate for Asthma Therapy

The Macrophage Mediator, Maresin-1, is derived from the Omega-3 Fatty acid DHA. In a murine asthma model exogenously added Maresin-1 augmented T regulatory cells expansion and reduced lung inflammation with lower detectable levels of IL-5 and IL-13
