Lower Frequencies of Down-regulatory Fc receptor CD32B on Memory B cells in Rheumatoid Arthritis patients

Lower Frequencies of Down-regulatory Fc receptor CD32B on Memory B cells in Rheumatoid Arthritis patients

“CD40 Mediates Downregulation of CD32B on Specific Memory B Cell Populations in Rheumatoid Arthritis”  Xiaoyu Zhang, Scott E. Strome, et al. (2013 June 15,) J Immunol 190(12): 6015-22.

In RA patient samples, CD154 T cell expression levels correlated with the size of CD32B low/negative populations in B memory cell subsets.  Blockade of CD154-CD40 interaction has potential to restore memory B cell homeostasis.
