“A novel and potent brain penetrant inhibitor of extracellular vesicle release” Camilo Rojas, Barbara Slusher, et al. 2019 Brit J Pharmacology 176: 3857-70. Doi: 10.1111/bph.14789.

Using high throughput screening of 365,000 compounds, this research group from Johns Hopkins identified “PDDC”, a compound which penetrated brain tissue and inhibited release of murine astrocyte-derived EVs.
